Recreational Area

Parkway Forest has a recreational area located at 12701 Fern Forest Drive (located at Parkway Forest and Fern Forest) where residents can enjoy a park and playground equipment. There is a walking track, swings, play structures, covered pavilion, picnic tables and benches.The usage for the pavilion is a first come/first serve basis.

Board of Directors
Board of Directors This community is run by a seven member Board of Directors that volunteers their time to the Association. All Directors serve a two-year staggered term.

Community Meetings
Community Meetings Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Crime Watch meetings are held on the second Thursday each month at 6:15 p.m. Annual meetings are held on the second Tuesday of September at 7:00 p.m. All meetings are held at the Parkway Utility District office at 12843 Tidwell.

Exterior Modification
Exterior Modification All exterior alterations or improvements to property in Parkway Forest must be reviewed and approved in advance of construction by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). Residents must submit a home improvement application describing the work to be performed. The ACC will review the request and render a decision within 30 days. If it is not approved as submitted, the ACC may provide suggestions for making changes so it can be resubmitted for approval.   

To complete your application, click on Ask. Request. Submit. There you will enter all of the information needed in order for the committee to make an informed decision. Any applications dealing with the exterior appearance of the house (such as painting or roofing) must be accompanied with project details or the application might be disapproved for lack of information. Also include a plat map or survey of the property that indicates the project in conjunction to the property lines and easements when applicable.

Assessment Fees
Assessment Fees The assessments are due on January 1st of each year and provide for services in the community. Every owner has an obligation to pay the annual assessment. If you do not receive a statement, please submit an accounts receivable request to C.I.A. Services to confirm your balance and ensure it is paid on time. 

You may submit your payment by mail, in person, or on-line.

Services and Utilities

Streetlights
Streetlights Our streetlights are maintained by CenterPoint. If a light is out or blinking, please call CenterPoint at (713) 207-2222. Make sure to have the address of the light and the 5 digit pole number. You can also report it online.

Trash Service
Trash Service   Parkway Utility District provides trash pickup through Direct Waste Solutions. Waste should be deposited in resident-owned waste containers or bags between 30 and 50 gallons in size and weigh no more than 40 lbs per container.

Regular solid waste collection will be curbside on Wednesday & Saturday and heavy trash & recycling collection will be on Saturday.

Neighborhood Patrol

Parkway Forest has excellent patrol service within the community.

The Parkway Utility District has contracted with the Harris County Constable’s Department Precinct 3 for four deputies to provide neighborhood patrol for the area. The phone number is 281-427-4791.
