Connecting Neighborhoods Along Greens Bayou

Dear Parkway customers,

Many residents have expressed interest in additional parks and recreational facilities in your neighborhoods. Harris County Precinct 1 and the Houston Parks Board need to hear your requests by taking the Northeast Trails Exploration Study. Many of you enjoy our existing walking trail in Stonefield and the survey lists various trail connection points along Greens Bayou Corridor that are being considered. Your voice is important during this process so choose your selections carefully! There will also be a Zoom meeting with officials of Harris County Precinct 1 and the Houston Parks Board on Oct 28th to discuss potential trail projects. This is open to the public and information about the meeting is: Register here.

Should you have any questions regarding the scope of this survey or the Zoom public meeting, contact:

Exterior Modification
Exterior Modification All exterior alterations or improvements to property in Parkway Forest must be reviewed and approved in advance of construction by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). Residents must submit a home improvement application describing the work to be performed. The ACC will review the request and render a decision within 30 days. If it is not approved as submitted, the ACC may provide suggestions for making changes so it can be resubmitted for approval.

To complete your application, click on Ask. Request. Submit. There you will enter all of the information needed in order for the committee to make an informed decision. Any applications dealing with the exterior appearance of the house (such as painting or roofing) must be accompanied with project details or the application might be disapproved for lack of information. Also include a plat map or survey of the property that indicates the project in conjunction with the property lines and easements when applicable.

As soon as you have gathered your information, you are ready to get started.

Visit the Community Documents page to review all of the Parkway Forest governing documents or click Modification Guidelines.
