Nestled in the heart of Katy, Texas, the Community Association of Avondale is a charming, close-knit neighborhood where communication, collaboration, and community spirit flourish. Having recently transitioned from developer control, the community is now proudly led by a dedicated three-member resident Board that is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging environment for all.

Under the shade of the community park’s pavilion, residents and Board members frequently come together to share ideas, discuss improvements, and chart the path forward for Avondale. Whether it’s upgrading amenities or initiating new projects, every voice matters, and every resident has the opportunity to contribute to the community’s future.

The Board is currently exploring a variety of initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for all residents. From improved lighting and a camera system to exciting park upgrades, each project is rooted in resident feedback and thoughtful planning. One particularly exciting prospect is a potential shared amenity space in collaboration with neighboring Cinco Ranch II and the local MUD—an initiative that promises to bring even more value and vibrancy to the area.
