Qualifications
Continuing education for all of our staff members is important at C.I.A. Services. We sponsor the C.I.A. Services Seminar Series for our Board members and volunteers. Several of our managers are qualified as instructors (click here for information about the series). In addition to extensive internal training and refreshers, our managers attend routine industry seminars by the Community Association Institute (CAI) and other entities. Several of our managers have earned advanced designations from CAI: (PCAM, CMCA and/or AMS).
- Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) – The PCAM designation is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management. These individuals have advanced skills and knowledge and are recognized as one of the best and most experienced managers in the nation.
- Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) – CMCA is the only national certification program that recognizes community association managers who have successfully demonstrated fundamental knowledge and expertise in community management by completing certain requirements and have agreed to comply with the Standards of Professional Conduct.
- Association Management Specialist (AMS) – The AMS designation demonstrates a higher level of commitment to a manager’s career and the community association industry. Individuals who take the time to receive an AMS designation are those managers who want to enhance their knowledge and expertise and be of greater value to their communities and company.
