Planning to dig in your yard? Remeber to call 811 before you start your project. This is a free service that can help you avoid hitting your utilities. 

Street Lights
CenterPoint Energy maintains streetlights throughout Willow Forest. If a light is out or blinking, please call CenterPoint at 713-207-2222 or report it online.

You will be asked to provide: 

• A pole number for the non-functioning lights you want to report.
• Contact information (in case more information is needed to locate a streetlight).
• An e-mail address (if you want feedback regarding your repair request).
• The number of streetlights you would like to report.

Trash Collection
Trash services are provided by Farmers Disposal. 

Pick Up and Heavy Trash: Monday and Thursday are regular trash days with two heavy trash items accepted at every pick up. Trash needs to be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. to ensure pick up.

Reminders: 

• Please do not place trash at the curb until the night before pick up.
• All trash cans should be put up the evening of pick up.

Water Service
Water and wastewater services are provided through Dowdell PUD. To apply for new service or questions, please call (281) 651-1618 or visit Dowdell Public Utility District.

You can request to start water and sewer services with their online form; 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Water service is connected between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
