New Forest Homeowners Association

New Forest Homeowners Association (NFWHOA) is a beautiful community situated along Beltway 8 and HWY 90. With 507 homes, NFWHOA has quickly developed into an alluring destination for young families to raise their kids, as well as older couples seeking a quiet retirement. When you pull into the community from the beltway, you are guided into the community by ornamental streetlights, a well-manicured monument, and a scenic fountain. Over the years, the trees at the entrance have grown to provide a beautiful, shaded canopy that allows you to forget about the busy bustling beltway that you drove in from.

The Board of Directors, consisting of Genevieve Rosignon, Don Nesbitt, Osborne Williams, John Jones, and James White have contributed to the family-friendly atmosphere of the neighborhood. The Board installed a beautiful, state-of-the-art splash pad in 2019 so that young families can cool off during a hot summer day. This is especially beneficial in the months leading up to the pool opening. The sparkling pool and fun playground provide additional destinations for families to enjoy the community. This year, residents can look forward to a refurbished pool deck with an aesthetically pleasing ’cool decking’ refinish. Additionally, the Board upgraded their pool pumps to variable speed pumps, which will save on electricity, and replaced the aging cartridge filters with commercial-grade sand filters.

Other improvements include painting all the handicap ramps in the community, upgrading a portion of Christmas decorations in 2021, and adding more electrical outlets at additional entrances in the community so that the community can continue to see additional lighting during the holiday season in years to come.

In 2022, the Board decided to upgrade and enhance the entry lighting in strategic parts of the neighborhood. The entrance off New Forest Glen, for example, now has beautiful up lighting installed at the bases of trees on either side of the entrance. Residents who live at ‘The Park at New Forest’ have probably noticed brand new monument and landscaping lighting at the entrance on Scots Pine Ln. The Directors are all proud of their accomplishments so far and look forward to helping the community realize even more of its potential in the years to come. C.I.A. Services has been a proud partner of the community since the community was formed and looks forward to helping the community continue to achieve its goals.
