Cinco Ranch Residential Association II
Cinco Ranch Residential Association II

Cinco Ranch II continues to be one of Houston’s premier family-oriented communities, serving as a signature piece in the Katy area, a mixture of metropolitan with a dash of southern hospitality. The Cinco Ranch II residents display a wonderful mixture of cultures from all around the world. The Community has around 6,300 homes and is located in the heart of Katy, Texas just off the Westpark Tollway.

One of the features that make Cinco Ranch II so special is the amazing amount of volunteerism from the residents of this community. There are 7 Board members who attend every meeting and communicate with C.I.A. Services on issues in their community and guide us on what we can do to best suit the needs of all residents and ensure Cinco Ranch is a great place to live for everyone. Alongside the Board members, there are 101 Neighborhood Voting Delegates charged with casting votes for all community elections and votes. These delegates ensure that each section of the neighborhood has their voices heard, and in such a large and diverse community, their work is necessary.

In addition to the Board and Neighborhood Voting Delegates, there are numerous fully volunteer-run committees that serve various purposes in Cinco Ranch II. The Committees that work most closely with C.I.A. Services include the Design Review Committee, who works with us on home improvement applications, and the Budget Advisory Community, who works on the annual budget and evaluates costs to the Association each year.

A few of these Committees’ work pertains to keeping Cinco Ranch II a welcoming and pleasant place to live in and near. The Beautification Committee evaluates cost-saving options for landscaping, decides the community’s seasonal colors, and sponsors the Yard of the Month award program. The Parks & Recreation Committee evaluates the amenities and provides recommendations to the Board for improvements and use policies. Lastly for this category, the Fence Advisory Committee works on recommendations regarding boulevard fence replacement and maintenance. The work of all three of these groups of volunteers keeps new homeowners flowing into Cinco Ranch II by keeping a beautiful and desirable look and guarantees that current residents continue to feel proud of their community and happy in their homes.

The Shared-Use Committee and Safety Committee work with outside organizations to benefit the residents of Cinco Ranch II. The Shared-Use Committee works with the neighboring Cinco Ranch I Association on their shared amenity program, and the Safety Committee works with the MUDs overseeing the neighborhood patrol contracts and provides safety reports to the homeowners.

Lastly, there are two Committees who provide connections between the Board and all other residents. The Nominating Committee is responsible for finding volunteers for the vacant board positions each election, and the Communications Committee works on the monthly newsletter that is sent out to all occupants of Cinco Ranch II.

All of these Committees are volunteer-based and consist of hardworking individuals who, in addition to their own jobs and lives, commit their time to make sure Cinco Ranch II is a beautiful, safe, and communal place to live for all. The work that they put in deserves to be recognized and is what makes Cinco Ranch II great.
