The Parkway Forest Property Owners Association was incorporated in July 1977 and consists of 870 properties. The community is located off Beltway 8 and Tidwell amongst several newly constructed communities.
The Community has seen its ups and downs through the years. They struggled for several years to pay for two contract Deputy Constables to patrol the neighborhood. In April 2005, Parkway MUD took over the patrol contract and the Association had money once again. The first step of major improvement was to complete the fourth phase of installing sidewalks in the community. They installed a section of sidewalks on Tidwell and a section on Fern Forest, one of the major thoroughfares that the children take to school.
The Board foresees futures plans to upgrade the park with some new playground equipment, picnic tables and to add a jogging trail.
Congratulations to Parkway Forest on being selected Community of the Month. C.I.A. Services is proud to be a part of this Association for over nineteen years.
