Sonoma Ranch is one of our veteran communities that we excitedly celebrated 20 years with in April of 2023! Located on the southeast side of Houston and only a stone’s throw away from Beltway 8 and Highway 10, Sonoma Ranch is close to many great restaurants and shops. In addition, residents are not far from Johnson Park, Moncrief Park, the Rio Villa Nature Trail, and the San Jacinto River. 

Though it is an older community, you would never be able to tell! Residents take great pride in their homes and the community. Sonoma Ranch completed its clubhouse a little over a year ago and upgraded lighting and installed a new Life Guard building. The community also upgraded the pool chemical monitoring system and now has WIFI available at the clubhouse, pool, and park area. The new spaces are a big hit with residents; Whether it’s for a private rental or a community event, there is always someone there! 

As part of Sonoma Ranch’s goal to help create a friendly neighborhood environment, they recently held an Easter event for residents and their families. The Board members and community volunteers set up games and crafts in the clubhouse that all ages would enjoy. The Easter Bunny also made a special appearance and took many photos with residents. 

Sonoma Ranch plans to add more events this year and hopes to update other areas of the community, such as lighting and a new shade cover over the playground equipment in the main park for all residents to enjoy.
