With school wrapping up for the 2020-2021 year, and COVID-19 numbers dropping, the Board of the Magnolia Heights Homeowners Association decided it was time to bring back that sense of community for their neighborhood. The 5-member Board put a lot of thought in how to kick off this celebration and decided on just the right theme to get this summer party started!
The ‘End of School Splash’ on June 4th, the last day of school, sported a large inflatable water slide, water balloon fights, a face painting station, and a dunking station! The dunking station was particularly fun, especially when the President of the Board, Amy Hoffmann, volunteered to get dunked (you may recognize the ‘dunkee’, Ms. Hoffmann, from a recent Volunteer Spotlight!). Homeowners enjoyed the games as well as delicious food and treats from the Kona Ice and Crazy’Z food trucks.
This Board worked for weeks to coordinate all the fun, and the pictures tell the rest of the story. We appreciate their hard work, and it is great to see our families back to enjoying their community, and having fun in getting together again. Thank you to the Magnolia Heights Board, the vendors, and the residents for making this event so special!
