Indian Shores Property Owners Association

C.I.A. Services has had the opportunity to grow with the Indian Shores Property Owners Association for the last 32 years. We have both seen many changes in the years and the dedicated Board of Directors have worked diligently as the community continues to grow today.

The community was formed in 1971 and they, like many other communities at that time, had a capped annual assessment at a very low rate of $20.00 per year. As the years passed it was difficult to find the funds to meet the annual budget. The Board of Directors had to be creative in order to obtain funds for supplemental services such as patrol services, trash service, and mosquito fogging. They implemented a Community Service plan which provides these supplemental services to the owners. They currently are looking into energy providers to reduce the streetlight billing.

The community is still very active and the Civic Club has events such as street dances, potluck dinners, and a crawfish boil.  They have a newsletter that keeps everyone updated on events. They have active committees such as Community Services, Roads and Grounds, and more.

Recreational facilities within the community include a swimming pool, golf course, practice range, boat launch, and a park. These facilities are not part of the Association owned areas. The MUD district (Harris County #58) owns most of the area.

C.I.A. Services would like to take the opportunity to say Thank You and congratulations to Indian Shores for being named the June 2020 Community of the Month.
