Resilience, the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; the ability to spring back into shape. That is how to describe the Pine Forest Village Community.
Just over a year ago this small community met Mother Nature’s fury head on during the devastation brought on from Hurricane Harvey. Every home in this small community saw flooding to the roof line. Homes lost, cars damaged, personal memories destroyed and many unable to return to their homes for weeks following while waiting for the flood waters to recede. Like many Houston communities, the destruction was overwhelming, but this community stood strong. Coming together to encourage one another and help each other get back to wholeness. The Board of Directors acted quickly working with the county to begin clearing debris that had floated in with the flood waters along with the demolition trash.
Today, the community is working hard to return to the quiet, beautiful little community it once was. You can see neighbors walking down the sidewalks again greeting one another or offering to lend a hand. Many yards and homes have undergone a complete facelift helping to restore vibrancy back into the community. The Board of Directors has worked hard over the last year to help homeowners recover and get the rebuilding processed approved quickly. It’s amazing how far they have come in such a short time.
C.I.A. Services is proud to partner with Pine Forest Village in keeping this gem a wonderful place to call home.
