Atascocita Trails H.O.A. was was among the first subdivisions to be developed in the Atascocita area, a suburban area northeast of Houston, back in 1976. The community has 775 single family homes and is served by a five member volunteer Board of Directors.
This is a very diverse community, with many young families as well as retired owners, many of whom have been residents since the beginning. Some grew up in the neighborhood and went on to purchase their own homes here because of the sense of community that prevails to this day in Atascocita Trails.
The Board works very hard to educate owners on the importance of maintaining their property to keep home values up in the community. While they take deed restriction enforcement seriously, they are also very aware that many owners are on a fixed income or facing other financial or health issues that may prevent repairs from being done within the requested time. They are always willing to listen and try to offer extensions or other assistance when possible to work with residents.
The Board has also worked hard to keep the assessments low, while maintaining the existing amenities. They diligently hone the annual budget to allow for funds to be available for regular maintenance as well as future repairs, and work to develop ideas for new improvements to the community. To keep costs down, these Board members are always ready and willing to pitch in and volunteer their time to make many minor repairs themselves to save the cost of having a service call or contractor labor.
C.I.A. Services is proud to have managed Atascocita Trails since 2012, and we look forward to serving this wonderful community for many more years to come.
