Hockey Night 2016

Are You Ready for Some Hockey?

Everything is new for the San Antonio Rampage this season.  The team’s NHL affiliation has changed from the Florida Panthers to the Colorado Avalanche.  Players and staff from Colorado’s affiliate last year, the Lake Erie Monsters (Cleveland, Ohio) have moved to San Antonio.  Several other northeastern teams have relocated to California to be closer to their NHL parents clubs.  With those changes the American Hockey League has created a new Pacific Division.  And the AT&T Center has been renovated, too!

With the AHL changes, the San Antonio Rampage and the Texas Stars are now part of the Pacific Division (since Texas and California are apparently so close).  With the changes we’ll be seeing a number of former northeastern and Canadian teams that play an up-tempo, physical game.  Here’s what our division looks like:

  • Bakersfield Condors (Edmonton Oilers)
  • Ontario Reign (Los Angeles Kings)
  • San Antonio Rampage (Colorado Avalanche)
  • San Diego Gulls (Anaheim Ducks)
  • San Jose Barracuda (San Jose Sharks)
  • Stockton Heat (Calgary Flames)
  • Texas Stars (Dallas Stars)

The Rampage has had an impressive start to the season.  After opening with a close overtime loss to their familiar rival, the Texas Stars, they have been on a roll with 5 straight wins.  Their 5-0-1-0 records is the best start in the franchise’s 12 year history (wins, losses, overtime losses and shootout losses).   So many players are doing well, it is hard to tell who are going to be the standouts and most exciting players this season.  That’s a nice problem to have.

Our 8th Hockey Night with the San Antonio Rampage will be held on Saturday, January 23rd when they battle the Bakersfield Condors.  Each year, we invite our community volunteers, employees, families and friends to join us for a fun-filled evening watching a great sport.  If you’ve not seen a live game, it’s a real treat.  Invitations will be mailed the first week in January.

2016 Annual Assessments

It Is That Time of Year Again!
by Megan Bennett, Community Specialist

What time of year is it?  It’s assessment season!  During this time, C.I.A. Services mails out over 60,000 statements to all of the members in the communities we manage.

For some communities, the process began as early as July with the budget preparation work. Since then, we’ve all been busy working on the budget drafts, finalizing those numbers with the board members, creating assessment letters to accompany the statements and finally, printing and mailing the statements.

For most associations, the assessment fees are due by January 1, 2015 and will be considered delinquent after January 31st. Some communities elect to provide monthly payment options to help break down the total balance prior to the January 31st deadline. Payment arrangements are offered when appropriate to avoid late fee penalties after the assessments become delinquent.

We also provide the option for owners to make online payments! The "e-Check” option allows owners to pay online without being assessed the $10 convenience fee required by the Association’s bank when using a credit/debit card.

There are a number of employees that are involved in this process. We are proud of every member on our team as we reach the conclusion for this year!
