After much anticipation, we are happy to be holding an Open House at our new North Houston Regional Office building this month. We’ve been in our new building for just over a year and are excited to be able to show our space now that things are back to "normal".

Please join us on Thursday, September 29th.  The event will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and we invite our guests to drop by 18333 Timber Forest Drive in Humble at your convenience.  There will be refreshments and many smiling faces here to greet you.

We look forward to seeing you and showing you our new space!

Manager Earns Designation

We are very honored to announce that Sabrina Padgett, a portfolio manager at our Humble Office, recently earned the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) designation by the Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB).

CAMICB administers the CMCA examination, a rigorous test that measures knowledge of best practices in the community management industry.  The CMCA is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and complies with the NCCA’s stringent international standards for a professional certification program.

Way to go Sabrina!

Core Values in Action

School Supply Handout

Helping the community is one of our core values, so we strive to be a positive influence on the greater community through our volunteer efforts, donations, and support. Our San Antonio Office practiced just that this month at Adams Hill Elementary School.

With many children going back to school this month, C.I.A. Services visited Adams Hill Elementary and passed out school supplies collected by our San Antonio office. Through the generosity of our employees, we were able to make 110 packets filled with school supplies for Adams Hill!

Adams Hill Elementary is a Title 1 campus with several children being raised by single parents, their grandparents, or within foster care. Cynthia Strickland spent the day with the students and parents, handing out the donated school supplies. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on their faces in appreciation of our efforts.

We wish all students and educators a safe and fun-filled school year!

Cross Creek Ranch Community Association – Resident Committee Members
by Kristen Craig

The success of any community lies with the volunteers who give their time freely.  It goes without words to say that Committees in Cross Creek Ranch have dedicated time to helping the community operate to its fullest and look its best!

The Resident Advisory Committee serves as a liaison from the residents of Cross Creek Ranch to the Board to provide input to the Board with respect to suggestions or concerns as to any matter concerning the Association.

The Grounds Committee helps identify projects and objectives related to the maintenance and enhancement of property and facilities for which the Association has responsibility pursuant to the governing documents for Cross Creek Ranch. They continuously monitor existing Association facilities and recommend the areas and/or facilities for additional beautification projects. The Committee has assisted in monitoring existing landscaping and natural areas within Association property and reporting any deterioration and other issues to the Board.

The Tennis Committee is to assist with the monitoring of the Association tennis courts, reporting any deterioration, recommending plans/improvements, and any other issues regarding the courts to the Board. The Committee has assisted in many improvements to the various tennis facilities.

The Foundation Committee is an appointed group of community members who work in concert with the Cross Creek Ranch Community Association by reviewing requests for funding and making recommendations for projects believed to best reflect the needs and interests of the Cross Creek Ranch community.

C.I.A. Services and the Cross Creek Ranch Community Association would like to thank the Cross Creek Ranch Resident Committees for their hard work, time, and dedication. It’s individuals like them that make the communities shine!

Associations in Practice

Our Associations in Practice Series is an offering of short videos with very specific topics.  Our newest video is Texas 87th Legislative Session.  The 2021 session of the Texas legislature produced significant changes to the Texas Property Code affecting property owners’ associations. This video explores those changes and provides specific follow-up recommendations.

Super-Budget Concepts is a great introduction (or refresher) to our Super-budget and a nice refresher or opening to the full webinar offered in our Seminar Series.

In our video, Short Term Rentals, we offer insight into short-term rental properties. We have an expert panel on board discussing everything from what a short-term rental is, to potential problems and possible solutions.

All of our Associations in Practice Series videos will be available on our YouTube channel. We will send updates when new material is added. You can also subscribe to our channel for news on the latest additions.
