Managers Earn Designation
We are very honored to announce that Adam Bruce and Todd Miksch both recently earned the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) designation by the Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB).
CAMICB administers the CMCA examination, a rigorous test that measures knowledge of best practices in the community management industry. The CMCA is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and complies with the NCCA’s stringent international standards for a professional certification program.
Adam and Todd are both Community Managers from our North Houston office. Adam joined C.I.A. Services a year ago and Todd joined us in 2020. They are both already working towards their next designations.
Way to go Adam and Todd!
Parks and Recreation Committee at Bridlegate Ranch
by Tina Jameson
This month, we spotlight the Parks and Recreation Committee at Bridlegate Ranch in Bandera, Texas. This hardworking five-member committee is concerned with overseeing the upkeep of the Bridlegate Community Center (BCC), the Ranch House complex (including the rental units), and the many other amenities within Bridlegate Ranch. They do an amazing job decorating the two large facilities as well as the entries for the holidays. Whether they’re choosing the flooring in the guest house, decorating for the holidays, refreshing the community signage, or replacing the cushions at the community pools, this committee is always in the middle of the project. The committee was also charged with decorating the BCC after a major renovation. They are currently working on additional soundproofing for the great room.
One unique function of this committee is to coordinate the host family program. There are apartment units available for short-term rental by lot owners and their guests coming to visit the Bridlegate Ranch. The host family is available to assist in any facility emergencies that might come up as well as answer any questions about the community and the surrounding area. The committee receives great feedback from those visitors, improving the facilities. Chairperson Andrea Brents, Reina Guzman, Catherine Parker, Char Ray, Kathy Thomas, and Board Liaison Pat Lewis make recommendations on the purchase of pool furniture, appliances, community signs, and other routine items. They are the interior decorators for the Community Center and Ranch House. You can’t help but feel at home in these wonderful facilities.
Please join us in saying thank you to this hardworking committee for everything they do for Bridlegate Ranch!!
We are proud of every one of our communities, so it is always hard to find just one to highlight. We start by having each of our Community Managers write a nomination for one of their communities. We then read them and take a vote.
Here are the most recent selections:

We are very excited to announce a new community that will be joining us!
The Clayton’s Corner Community Association is located right behind our North Houston Office in Humble, which will be the office to manage this community, and has 413 homes with a small community park.
We are delighted to offer our services to this new association. Please join us in welcoming them to the C.I.A. Services family!
Every month we appreciate the communities that are celebrating their anniversaries with us. Here are the clients that started with us in May.
Our goal has always been to create a positive, long-term relationship with all of our client communities. We are very proud to be managing all of these communities.
20+ Year Anniversaries
We love to celebrate special milestones with our employees. In the Employee Corner of each eNews issue, we will list all employees that have reached their first anniversary with our company. Additionally, once employees reach five years and become a stockholder, we recognize them each year on their anniversary month.
This month, we have three 20+ year anniversaries!
Congratulations to Renea Miksh, who will be celebrating 37 years at C.I.A. Services! Renea is an Executive Vice President, the Branch Manager of our North Houston office, and manages several communities. She has also been a great company leader and mentor to all of us during these 37 years. In her personal time, Renea is often courtside cheering on one of her 2 daughters; Maggie is a high school junior that plays volleyball, and Marley is in 7th grade and plays volleyball, basketball, soccer, and participates in track and field.
Laura Tate will be celebrating her 29th anniversary with us this month! In addition to being a part of the company leadership, Laura has focused on managing master-planned communities for the last 20 years or so. She enjoys creating difficult and complex budgets that are perfect for developing and new communities. Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her two daughters. The trio has enjoyed being able to attend concerts again.
Congratulations to Margie De La Cruz for her 22nd anniversary at C.I.A. Services which she will be celebrating this May. Margie is the Clerical Assistant at our West Houston office. Margie is absolutely full of life, as she loves to dance, spend time with friends, and hit the casinos. You might also find her jamming out to Elvis, as she is his number 1 fan!
More Stockholder Anniversaries
Please join us in celebrating Jessica Soto, who will be achieving her 7th anniversary this month! Jessica leads our very busy Architectural Department with a patient and encouraging hand. She is always one of the first to volunteer to attend community events and just loves talking and getting to know the community members. When not working, Jessica focuses on her family life. She and her husband have 3 children, one of whom will be graduating high school this year. Most of her extended family is local, so they take advantage of that by having lots of family-get-togethers throughout the year.
Congratulations to Leticia Burchard on her 7 year anniversary with C.I.A. Services! Letty is an integral part of our San Antonio Office Operations. She is an Office Manager, Access Coordinator, and the Maintenance Coordinator Assistant. She’s always been willing to step in and help when needed or take on added responsibilities. She personifies "Loyalty" and "Dependability." She is a dedicated employee always willing to assist her coworkers and clients in any way she can. She is a tenacious worker; you can always rely on her to get the job done no matter what! In her personal life, she enjoys hanging out by her pool with her husband, children, grandchildren, and her two goofy Goldendoodles: Molly & Max!
Ryne Williams is celebrating his 5th anniversary with the company and is becoming our newest stockholder this month! Ryne is an Onsite Community Assistant and spends his work days helping homeowners in their community. Ryne always has a friendly smile on his face and steps in to lend a helping hand whenever needed. He is also a successful fashion blogger and photographer (www.stylesofhouston.com) and is always very stylish himself. Ryne’s work has been featured in Houstonia Magazine and on Houston Life TV and Houston Public Media Radio. Congratulations Ryne!
