Announcing a New Look!
We are so excited to announce our new brand identity, which includes a new logo, colors, and font. You’ll see the new look on our website, Facebook, and LinkedIn as well as our communication materials and everything in between.
Since our founding in 1984, we have updated our brand four times. As times change, our brand identity needs to continually evolve as well. With the new Houston Regional building set to open this summer, we think it is the perfect time to refresh our look as we continue to provide the best service in community management.
Our goal with the new design was to better match our look to our core values – Stewardship, Passion, Empathy, Community, Integrity, Awesomeness, and Loyalty. The new logo consists of a house to represent the heart of a community, surrounded by people to represent the priority of any community. Additionally, the keyholes reflect that we are the “key” for community services. The new handwritten styled font reflects our “hands-on service.” The colors we chose suggest protection, strength, and prosperity.
We decided to include our tagline in the new logo to reaffirm our commitment to our communities – Systems, Structure, Stewards. We plan to have all pieces updated with our new branding by the time we move into the new Houston Regional building in Humble.
We hope you enjoy our new look as much as we do!
Amy Hoffmann of Magnolia Heights Homeowners Association
by Valerie Flinn
This month, we are recognizing Amy Hoffmann, current President of the Magnolia Heights HOA for our Volunteer Spotlight. She began working with the HOA Board 7 years ago and she loves helping her community!
Amy’s other volunteer efforts include extensive work with Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and school PTA boards. She is a Girl Scout Troop Leader, GSSWT Council Trainer, and Community Troop Leader Outdoor Coordinator. She also currently serves as Crew Committee Chair for the all-female Boy Scouts of America Venturing Crew 1779 that she started 3 years ago. She has volunteered for the Murnin Elementary PTA for the last 7 years and has fulfilled numerous roles within the organization. She is currently in her 3rd year of serving on the Vale Middle School PTA as Healthy Lifestyles Chair and now Art Reflections Chair.
Amy has been happily married for the last 14 years to her husband Aaron, who is a Nurse Practitioner. She is a busy loving Mom to her 5 amazing kids and a plethora of pets.
Needless to say, Amy is a person who loves her family and her community; she maintains a busy lifestyle helping out in so many amazing ways. We are grateful for all she does for Magnolia Heights and the passion she has for the community. Thank you, Amy!
We are very pleased to announce our newest community to join our Humble Office effective May 1st! The Mulberry Farms Residential Association is a new development located in Santa Fe that will have over 150 homes. The infrastructure is underway and the first homes will close later in 2021.
We are excited to offer our services to Mulberry Farms. Please join us in welcoming them to the C.I.A. Services family!
We are proud of every one of our communities, so it is always hard to find just one to spotlight. Each month, one of the managers from each region writes a few words about one of their communities and why they are special.

The Next Chapter
by Annette McConnell
At the end of May, our dear Cindy Hatthorn is retiring and moving on to the next chapter of her life. We are so happy for her and her husband Vernie, who is also retiring from his career as a guard at Hondo Prison. They plan to move “back home” to Lufkin, Texas, to be near family – and especially those grandbabies!
Cindy, a Stockholder at our Bandera Accounting office has been a loyal and valued employee for 9 years. We will miss her terribly, especially her “Team Spirit.” She’s always been willing to step in and help when needed or take on added responsibilities. She personifies “Loyalty” and “Dependability.” She is a kind and considerate person who understands other’s needs, which is part of what makes her such a pleasure to work with.
Among other things, Cindy is an expert in researching and solving utility billing issues. She is tenacious and gets the job done!
A Few Fun Facts About Cindy
Cindy, We will miss you for all these reasons and more – but mostly because you have a beautiful soul. Thank you for everything you’ve done. We wish you nothing but happiness and a long life ahead of you to enjoy those things that make you happiest, your children and grandbabies. You deserve it! We all wish you the best in everything!
