Cinco Ranch II continues to be one of Houston’s premier family oriented communities, serving as a signature piece in the Katy area, a mixture of metropolitan with a dash of southern hospitality. The Cinco Ranch residents are a wonderful mixture of professional and ethnic cultures from all around the world. The Community has annexed the last section into the community and will eventually have 6,358 homes, located in the heart of Katy, Texas just off the Westpark Tollway.
Cinco Ranch II recreational amenities include a water park that has a swimming pool, dual water slides, bucket dumpers, splash pads and a wading pool that overlooks a spectacular 20 acre lake. The second recreational facility is an Olympic size pool and tennis courts that are the home of our community youth leagues. The third swimming pool with dual water slides landing in a separate pool as well as a splash pad in the pool itself with dump buckets, spray cannon and a few other fun water activities. The fourth swimming pool has dual water slides landing in a separate pool, a splash pad in the pool itself with dump buckets, spray cannon and a few other fun water activities, as well as an external splash pad for use when the pool is not open. For the athletically inclined there are three locations that have tennis courts that are available for residents to perfect their game.
The community has a beautiful recreation center, the Lake House, which has wireless internet, meeting rooms, party rooms and is the home to our Cinco Ranch II Community Coordinator, Lindsay Scholfield and our onsite Community Assistant Ryne Williams. We currently have several different classes which take place in the Lake House to offer the residents such as Rhythm India, Carson’s Art, Coder Kids and other classes which you can find information about on the community intranet mycincoranch.com.
The Board currently consists of seven directors of which six are resident board members, who work very hard to make sure the community is maintained as it should be and are very mindful of the funds used within the association. The community grown very quickly over the past few years and is a great place to live. I am happy to nominate this community for Community of the Month.
