Association Amenities
The community has a large lake with a lighted fountain located in the center of the community with houses all around. This large area also has a playground for the kids and a covered pavilion with a few picnic tables under it and lots of open space to toss a ball around. The use of the pavilion for a birthday party is handled by following the procedure as noted in the pavilion use rules. There is also electricity at the pavilion for your use.
The community also has a very large nature preserve located at the rear of the community on the right side of the ditch beyond the tree line for hiking and biking. Absolutely no motorized vehicles are allowed on the preserve.
Uncovered Storage Facility
The community also has a small open storage facility in the rear of the community. There are 11 uncovered storage spaces for rent. The cost is $150.00 per year. If you are interested in storing a utility trailer, camper, or boat, please complete and submit the registration application with your key deposit to C.I.A. Services. Please be advised that beginning March 2012, if your yearly storage rental is not paid in full by March, you will not be issued a key to the gate and will be asked to remove your item from storage. The lock will be changed each March.
Association
Assessments
The 2024 Assessment has been set at $1,199.17.
Assessments are due January 1 of each year and become delinquent on January 31st. If you need to make payment arrangements, please contact C.I.A. Services.
Exterior Modification
All exterior alterations or improvements to a property must be reviewed and approved in advance of construction by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). Residents must submit a home improvement application describing the work to be performed. The ACC will review the request and render a decision within 30 days. If it is not approved as submitted, the ACC may provide suggestions for making changes so it can be resubmitted for approval.
To complete your application, click on Ask. Request. Submit. There you will enter all of the information needed in order for the committee to make an informed decision. Any applications dealing with the exterior appearance of the house (such as painting or roofing) must be accompanied with project details or the application might be disapproved for lack of information. Also include a plat map or survey of the property that indicates the project in conjunction with the property lines and easements when applicable.

Gate Access
The community has gate remotes to purchase at $50.00 each. Also, there are other ways to gain access to the community. The access registration form must be completed. Please contact C.I.A. Services if you have any questions.
Services and Utilities
Mosquito Fogging in Your Community
The Association pays for mosquito fogging to be performed between April and October, once per week by Northwest Pest Control.

Electricity Providers
Since electricity deregulation has occurred in Texas, consumers may choose from a number of companies for electricity.

Streetlights
CenterPoint Energy maintains streetlights throughout Stable Gate. If a light is out or blinking, please call CenterPoint at 713-207-2222 or report it online.
You will be asked to provide:
- a pole number for the non-functioning lights you want to report
- contact information (in case more information is needed to locate a streetlight)
- an e-mail address (if you want feedback regarding your repair request)
- the number of streetlights you would like to report
Trash Service
Water Company
The community’s water supply comes from our private well and is owned and operated by Aqua TX. Please contact them at 1-888-370-6527.
How to Obtain a Mailbox Key

To obtain a mailbox key, please take your closing documents to the post office and complete the required forms. Without the proper documents, you will not be issued a key.
