Residents of the Highlands,

 

Williams Trace Blvd - Phase 2 improvements and repairs have been pending for several years, and the delay is taking a toll on our community. The Highlands Board of Directors is asking each resident to take immediate action and reach out to the City of Sugar Land. We need to let them know that we want this long-overdue road improvement work to start without further delay.

 

Let’s come together as a community to ensure our voices are heard and the improvements to Williams Trace Blvd are prioritized. 

 

The improvements proposed for Phase 2 will be identical to those already completed on Williams Trace on the other side of Hwy 6 leading to Austin Parkway. This includes repaving the roadway and installing an improved sidewalk on the Highlands side of Hwy 6. These enhancements are crucial for the safety and convenience of our residents.

 

Currently, the Highlands Board has put essential landscape and irrigation repairs on hold. We don’t want to invest in these needed upgrades only to see them potentially destroyed by the pending road work. This has left parts of our neighborhood looking neglected and unfinished, impacting not only our daily lives but also the overall aesthetic and value of our community.
