Short-Term Rentals Survey Summary of Results
The CWCPOA Board of Directors values the input and opinions of its members as they continue to enhance and protect the neighborhood. In order to gauge the community’s stance on short-term rentals and make informed decisions, they completed a Short-Term Rentals Survey in June 2023.

Here are the key findings:

 1. Voting Process: The survey responses were categorized based on the lot numbers provided by the participants.

 2. Multiple Votes: Six lots voted twice, and three lots voted three times. However, according to the Governing Documents, only one vote per lot is allowed in the case of a real vote. All duplicate and triplicate votes were not tallied.

 3. Participation Rate: Out of the 58 lots, a total of 34 lots participated in the survey, resulting in a participation rate of 59%.

   -Yes: 22 votes

  - No: 12 votes

 2. Property Value Concerns:

   -Yes: 21 votes

  - No: 14 votes

 3. Effective Use of Association Funds:

   -Yes: 20 votes

  - No: 14 votes

 4. Pursuing Changes to Covenants & Restrictions:

   -Yes: 20 votes

  - No: 13 votes

  5. Restricting Property Rights:

   -Yes: 13 votes

  - No: 20 votes

 7. Vote on Restricting Short-Term Rentals in Clearwater Canyon:

  - For 18 votes

  - Against 12 votes

 8. Association Restrictions for Wainscoting:

  - For 12 votes

  - Against 16 votes
