Why are we conducting this election?

MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT. A Special Meeting of the members of Lake McQueeney Las Brisas Homeowners Association, Inc. will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, immediately after the annual meeting at the community’s vacant lot, located at 231 Las Brisas Boulevard, Seguin, Texas 78155. The purpose of this is to vote on the proposed Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions amendment. Click here to view the proposed amendment. According to Article 9, Section 4(b);

Amendments. With the exception to the amendments which may be made by the Declarant alone as herein provided, the consent of Members having at least seventy-five (75%) percent of the votes entitled to be cast at a meeting of the Association shall be required to add or amend any material provisions of this Declaration or the By-Laws of the Association. Any mortgage holder of record who receives a written request to approve additions or amendments to this Declaration or to the By-Laws of the Association who does not deliver or post to the party requesting approval of such additions or amendments a negative response within thirty (30) days shall be deemed to have approved such request.
