Neighborhood Reminders

The Board of Directors would like to take the opportunity to remind all homeowners that:

1. All exterior alterations or improvements to a property in Northwest Park must be reviewed and approved in advance of construction by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). In addition, house colors chosen must be comparable to those in the neighborhood.
2. Signs other than “For Sale” or “For Rent” are not permitted and must be taken down.
3. Any questions or concerns you may have can be directed to C.I.A. Services at 210-490-0000 or CustomerCareSA@ciaservices.com. Note: concerns are not discussed at quarterly or annual meetings; they will be handled separately and privately.
4. City ordinance restricts basketball hoops from being on the sidewalk or street.
5. Please contact 311 or the non-emergency police department at 207-SAPD for concerns regarding illegal parking and/or neighbor’s parking.
6. Please be careful where you park and avoid blocking handicap ramps from the sidewalk as this can result in a citation from the city. Not only can this result in a citation from the city, but several handicap people as well as strollers who need access to these ramps are unable.
7. When parking your vehicles, make sure they are facing the correct direction. Not parking your vehicle correctly could also result in a parking violation.
8. The City of San Antonio Solid Waste Management Department has begun to enforce their rules on what can be placed in the blue trash carts. For up to date information, please visit SAWS website at www.saws.org.
