The sticker is a one-time fee of $25.This is so your vehicle and boat trailer can be parked in the parking lot after unloading the boat for a day in the water. Association
Assessment Fees
The assessments are due on January 1st of each year and provide for services in the community. Every owner has an obligation to pay the annual assessment. If you do not receive a statement, please submit an accounts receivable request to C.I.A. Services to confirm your balance and ensure it is paid on time.
You may submit your payment by mail, in person, or online.
Community Services
Due to the rising costs of doing business, your Board of Directors voted and approved to make these fees now mandatory for all owners with a residence, as every residential owner reaps the benefits of the program. As such, residential owners will now be required to participate and pay the community service fee. Owners are still allowed to select if they would like full or partial services but must select one or the other. The filed resolution from May 2020, can be viewed here.
Partial Services does not cover trash services; however, it helps cover the other expenses. This service is billed at $84 per quarter. You may select the trash company of your choice.
To begin either service, you may contact C.I.A. Services, Inc. at 713-981-9000.

Exterior Modifications
All exterior alterations or improvements to property in Indian Shores must be reviewed and approved in advance of construction by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). Residents must submit a home improvement application describing the work to be performed. The ACC will review the request and render a decision within 30 days. If it is not approved as submitted, the ACC may provide suggestions for making changes so it can be resubmitted for approval.
To complete your application, click on Ask. Request. Submit. There you will enter all of the information needed in order for the committee to make an informed decision. Any applications dealing with the exterior appearance of the house (such as painting or roofing) must be accompanied with project details or the application might be disapproved for lack of information. Also include a plat map or survey of the property that indicates the project in conjunction with the property lines and easements when applicable.
As soon as you have gathered your information, you are ready to get started.
Visit the Community Documents page to review all of the Indian Shores governing documents or click Modification Guidelines.

Security
Harris County
In this current environment, personal and home security is important to each of us. The Association is pleased that Indian Shores has contracted with Harris County Constable Precinct 3 to provide Police patrols of our neighborhood. It is nice to know that we can walk, jog, or ride our bicycles on the streets of Indian Shores without fear.
However, this protection is not free. The security services, as well as mosquito fogging and trash service, are paid by homeowners participating in Community Services (CS).
