Amenities

Water Park and Pool
Water Park and Pool The swimming pool, children’s wading pool, and splash park are located at 5875 Summit Creek Drive.

The swimming pool and splash park are open from May through September. The splash park is operated by the City of Sugar Land and is open to the public. Note: The restrooms at the splash park are private, and are only accessible by residents of RiverPark on the Brazos.

The swimming pool will open weekends only in May.  For a full list of hours please see below:

How to Gain Access to the Pool
 
For 2024, access device cards will be needed to gain entry.  Be advised that your Association assessments must be paid in full or on an active/current payment plan to be eligible for access. 
 
You may obtain an access card by visiting the onsite office on Thursdays from 2pm to 7pm and Crickett be be happy to assist you.  Each household is eligible to receive two cards.  Each card admits the cardholder plus 4 persons.  Your first 2 cards are free.  Lost/replacement cards may be purchased for $10 each.  Owner must provide the number on each lost card so they can be deactivated.  We do not accept cash at the onsite facility.
 
Pool parties are not allowed at this time.

Walking Trails & Lakes

The City of Sugar Land maintains walking trails that include picnic tables and interpretive signs. The trails parallel the Brazos River. They are open daily from dawn to dusk.
 
Throughout the community, you will find beautiful lakes and fountains.

Clubhouse
RiverPark features a clubhouse perfect for meetings and private events. The clubhouse is located at 5875 Summit Creek Drive and is next to the pool, playground and splash park.

Crickett Lowdermilk, the onsite community assistant, is available at the recreation center on Thursdays from 2 pm until 7 pm each week for your clubhouse reservations and access device needs. Onsite office phone number: 346-228-4251.

The clubhouse holds approximately 60 persons. Private events may be booked at $175.00 for a block of 4 hours. A refundable deposit of $300.00 is required.

The clubhouse is not available to rent on Easter, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.

Playground & Parks
Playground & Parks A playground is located by the clubhouse at 5875 Summit Creek Drive as well as a second location on West RiverPark Drive. The parks are open daily from dawn to dusk. These playgrounds are association maintained.

There is also a City of Sugar Land maintained park with exercise equipment and a soccer field. Accessed only by walk in of approximately 1/4 mile on the paved sidewalk. It is located behind the recreation center. This park is also open daily from dawn to dusk.

Annual Assessments
Annual Assessments The 2024 Annual Assessment is $945.00 per Lot and is due January 1st and becomes delinquent on January 31st.

The statements have been mailed. If you do not receive a statement, please contact C.I.A. Services immediately to ensure prompt payment.

Board of Directors
Board of Directors The Association is operated by a volunteer group of five directors, elected by the members. The directors serve staggered terms of two years. To view the list of current directors serving Riverpark on the Brazos, visit the Key Personnel page.

Exterior Modification
Exterior Modification All exterior alterations or improvements to a property must be reviewed and approved in advance of construction by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). Residents must submit a home improvement application describing the work to be performed. The ACC will review the request and render a decision within 30 days. If it is not approved as submitted, the ACC may provide suggestions for making changes so it can be resubmitted for approval.

To complete your application, click on Ask. Request. Submit. There you will enter all of the information needed in order for the committee to make an informed decision. Any applications dealing with the exterior appearance of the house (such as painting or roofing) must be accompanied with project details or the application might be disapproved for lack of information. Also include a plat map or survey of the property that indicates the project in conjunction with the property lines and easements when applicable.

As soon as you have gathered your information, you are ready to get started.

Levee Improvement District #10
Levee Improvement District #10 is the entity that services the levees surrounding the community.  LID#10 now has a website.  Please visit for all your LID#10 concerns at:

Streetlights
Streetlights CenterPoint Energy maintains streetlights throughout Riverpark on the Brazos. If a light is out or blinking, please call CenterPoint at 713-207-2222 or report it online.

You will be asked to provide: 

  • A pole number for the non-functioning lights you want to report
  • Contact information (in case more information is needed to locate a streetlight)
  • An e-mail address (if you want feedback regarding your repair request)
  • The number of streetlights you would like to report

Trash Collection
Trash Collection Solid waste and recycling services are provided by the city of Sugar Land through their Solid Waste Department.

The city provides each household with garbage and recycling cart. If you need a different cart size or an additional cart, please contact Sugar Land Solid Waste at 281-275-2450 or email solidwaste@sugarlandtx.gov. The carts have serial numbers and are assigned to the residence. If you move, do not take the carts with you.

Starting Monday, January 16th, your new service days will be Monday and Thursday. On Thursday trash, recycling, and green wase will be picked up; with an additional trash pickup on Mondays. If a pickup day falls on one of three observed holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s), pickup occurs on the following day.

As of Monday, January 16th, bulky waste will transition to a new on-call service. you can request a bulky waste pick up by visiting www.republicservices.com/municipality/sugar-land-tx, via email at sugarland@republicservices.com, or by calling Republic at 713-726-7307.

Sugar Land Tree Trimming Ordinance
The City of Sugar Land Tree Ordinance No. 1505 requires residents to maintain trees that extend over a right of way/street.

"Where the tree overhangs a residential street, there must be a clear space under the tree that is 12 feet above the street surface and 8 feet above the sidewalk surface."

Water & Sewer
Water & Sewer Water and wastewater services are provided through the City of Sugar Land. To apply for new service or questions, please call 281-275-2450 or visit Sugar Land Water.

You can request to start water, sewer, and trash pickup services with their online form; 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or by calling Treasury Management at 281-275-2750. The city requires one working day notice to connect service. If service is required on the date of application, a $25 service initiation fee will be charged to the account. Water service is connected between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding holidays.

Deposit Requirement: When applying for service a $50 deposit is required unless a letter of reference is provided at the time of application. Letter of reference must be from another utility company and indicate no outstanding balance and no disconnections for non-payment during the last 12 consecutive billing cycles. If applying online, the deposit will be billed to your account unless the letter of reference is received. The letter of reference may be faxed to 281-275-2769. Please include on the letter of reference the new service address.

Water Irrigation System Evaluation - FREE From Sugar Land
Water Irrigation System Evaluation - FREE From Sugar Land The W.I.S.E. Guys Program is a limited pilot program of 100 evaluations designed to increase the efficiency of your irrigation system and possibly lower your monthly water bill. The city has contracted with Water Irrigation System Evaluations (W.I.S.E. Guys) to provide Sugar Land residents with a comprehensive evaluation of your irrigation system, at no cost to you

The program sends licensed irrigators to evaluate existing residential irrigation systems and make recommendations for improvement to the performance of the system and to the scheduling of the controller to reduce unnecessary water waste.
