Why are we conducting this election?
MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT. The 1st Reconvened 2024 Annual Meeting of The Summit Mutual Amenities Association, Inc. will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. Unfortunately, the quorum requirements of the association were not met at our last attempt. Thus, the Election of Directors was unable to take place. However, an update on the community’s projects and progress was given. The purpose of the 1st Reconvened 2024 Annual Meeting is for the Election of Directors only. The community needs you to vote to ensure a quorum is achieved and your Board of Directors election can be held! You will not need to submit a new vote if you have already submitted your vote. Because of the online format, this meeting will differ from past in-person meetings. One difference is that you cannot submit your vote at the meeting. All ballots must be cast before the meeting, and the election results will be announced at the meeting.
If a quorum is not met at the November 13th meeting, Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. has been chosen as the 1st reconvene date. If a quorum is not met at the December 4th meeting, Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. has been chosen as the 2nd reconvene date. All reconvened meetings will be held online. ELECTION. Two positions on the Board of Directors will be filled in this election to serve for a term of two years. Nominations will be taken from the floor, and write-in candidates are allowed.
VALIDATION. You must enter the 6-digit PIN from the written meeting announcement to validate your vote. Votes without a PIN or with an incorrect PIN will not be counted.
